Lake Desire Wildfire
On Thursday night, August 5, 2021, a slow-moving brush fire occurred at 16700 174th Ave. SE (the Christian School Road) approximately 200 feet in on the trailhead. The fire department put out the fire that night and returned the next morning to extinguish some remaining hot spots. Total area impacted was roughly 200’ x 40’. No one was injured and no homes or property was damaged. Cause unknown. To see the fire department report, please see the attachments.
